Event ‘Geography of Ghosts: Guided Tours’

DE Die Sozialwissenschaftlerin Wanda Spahl bot kostenlose Führungen durch die Ausstellung GoG in der Galerie Fabrikraum an. Sie gab Einblicke in PARABOLs Arbeitsweise und gab Einblicke in räumliche und materielle Aspekten der Gesundheit von geflüchteten Menschen. Gemeinsam wurde beispielsweise diskutiert: Wie produzieren Krankenhäuser Zugehörigkeit? Was zeigt ein Röntgenbild? Leben wir hier und dort zugleich? An den Führungen – zwei auf Englisch und eine auf Deutsch – nahmen jeweils 8 bis 12 Personen teil.

EN The social scientist Wanda Spahl offered free guided tours through the exhibition GoG at the gallery Fabrikraum. She provided insights into PARABOL’s working methods as well as spatial and material aspects of the health of refugees. Together, questions such as the following were discussed: How do hospitals create a sense of belonging? What does an X-ray image reveal? Do we live here and there at the same time? Each of the tours – two in English and one in German – was attended by 8 to 12 people.
