 DE PARABOL nahm an der RAI FILM Conference teil, einer zweijährlich stattfindenden internationalen Veranstaltung, die seit 1985 vom Royal Anthropological Institute (UK) organisiert wird und die besten Dokumentarfilme aus aller Welt würdigt. Das Festival präsentiert neue Arbeiten von akademischen Anthropolog:innen und verwandten Disziplinen sowie von Filmschaffenden aller Erfahrungsstufen – von Studierenden bis hin zu etablierten Profis. Gesucht werden mutige Filme, die schwierige Fragen stellen, Brücken bauen, Wiedergutmachung anstreben und sozialen Dialog sowie Gerechtigkeit fördern.

Wanda Spahl und Dominic Schwab hielten den Vortrag „From Scans to Stories: The Epistemological, Communicative, and Dialogical Potentials of Collaging LiDAR Scanning Processes with Social Science Research“ im Panel „An Anthropology of Collage and Assemblage“, organisiert von Cathy Greenhalgh.


EN PARABOL participated in the RAI FILM Conference, a biennial international event celebrating the best in documentary filmmaking from around the globe and established in 1985 by the Royal Anthropological Institute (UK). The festival showcases new work from academic anthropologists and related disciplines, and from filmmakers at all levels of experience from students to professionals. It looks for fearless films that ask difficult questions, build bridges, seek redress and promote social justice and dialogue.
